Hotbar Switcher Reborn is a Fabric utility that swaps the selected hotbar slot with the item stored directly above it in the inventory.

What it does

Pressing the bound hotkey exchanges the item in the selected hotbar slot with the one in the matching slot of the inventory's bottom row, so a single item can move between the two without reordering everything else. Players who keep handy items in that bottom row can reach them from the hotbar with one keypress. The mod is a fork of Hotbar Switcher, created after the original author stopped updating it. It runs on the client alone and needs Fabric API. Builds cover 1.21 – 26.3 for Fabric, and the code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, so it is open source.
