Hexic
by poolcritter
Hexic is a small Fabric addon for Hex Casting that adds miscellaneous features, patterns and quality-of-life changes to the spell system, for Minecraft 1.20.1.
What it does
The addon collects assorted extras for Hex Casting. A caster wearing mediaweave on the shoulders can cast up to two hexes at once, and echo shards can be used for shardcasting, where each shard works as a single-use casting device that can be reused. Stringworms, small creatures that accompany hexxing, are included as well, along with status indicators and some bugfixes.
Storage and display get attention too. Casting pouches hold media conveniently and recycle media that would otherwise be wasted. Greater reveal keeps a list of iotas permanently on screen in chat and removes entries once they are re-executed. Lani gambits give access to casting items from the staffcasting stack.
Hexic depends on Hex Casting, Hexal, Hexcellular, Hexpose, JsonPatcher, Krysztal's Language Scala, MoreIotas, PhLib and Trinkets, and all of them must be installed alongside it. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, and the latest build is 2.1.1. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later.
