Players who enjoy witchcraft can use Hexerei, a Forge and NeoForge magic mod that adds covens, a broom for travel, cauldron recipes and themed decoration blocks.
What it does
The mod builds its theme around witchcraft and the lore that comes with it. Custom structures are placed in the world, and a player-owned broom makes it possible to fly across the map to find them. Cauldrons let players mix recipes, and a coven can be decorated with blocks styled for that purpose.
The author's plan lists coven alignment with three main covens, coven witches who live in those covens and assign tasks that raise alignment, and rituals and spells that are expected once enough content exists to support them. The description calls these planned, so the current release may include only part of them.
Hexerei runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, with 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 as the two game versions, and the code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. The mod is open source, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Hexable: A Hexerei Sable compability mod requires it.
