Helpful Commands
Helpful Commands gives servers a set of player commands for warps, homes, teleport requests and selector-based actions on other players and entities, with an interactive menu for output.
What it does
Server owners can create named warps, and players can set their own homes, with configurable limits on how many each player may keep. Command output is shown as interactive text, where hovering reveals more detail and clicking runs a related action. The commands accept selectors, so an operator can act on other players or entities from a single command.
Permissions are handled per command and per argument, so a server can allow a command for some players while restricting particular options. The mod can integrate with LuckPerms for permission management, and it can be toggled on or off. Helpful Commands is server-side only, so players join a server running it without installing anything. It requires Fabric API and bundles fabric-permissions-api. Files cover game versions 1.19.2 – 26.3 across 27 release versions, and the code is released under the MIT License, so it is open source.
Key features
Server warps and homes
Server warps are created by operators, while players can set homes with limits that the server configures.
Interactive command output
Messages carry hover text with more detail and clickable actions, making results easier to act on in chat.
Argument-level permissions
Access can be restricted for a whole command or for individual arguments, and each command can be toggled separately.
In-game configuration
Settings can be changed in the game through a menu with tooltips and buttons, rather than by editing files alone.
