Head Track
by mammut53
Head Track lets compatible OpenTrack-style tracking software steer the in-game camera and the rendered player head.
What it does
Head Track receives OpenTrack-style UDP head pose data on port 4242 by default and turns the incoming motion into camera movement. The rendered player head follows the same motion. Optional camera translation adds 6DoF-style movement, so the view can shift as well as turn. Hybrid independent head and crosshair modes let the two move separately, and rotation limits, sensitivity and a freeze while menus are open keep the camera under control.
When the mod is also installed on a server, head poses are shared between players, so others see the same head movement. Its settings let the output match the OpenTrack UDP data the tracking software sends. The mod requires Fabric API and MidnightLib, and First-person Model is optional. Head Track is client required and server optional, and it is published for Fabric and NeoForge for 26.1 – 26.2, under All rights reserved.
