Grimoire is a Fabric server-side mod that extends the item upgrade mechanism with custom enchantments, custom items and custom recipes.
What it does
Grimoire adds its own enchantments, items and crafting recipes to a server, and changes how items are upgraded. Because it works on the server, players who join do not need to install anything, and the server owner decides how the additions are balanced. The author describes the gameplay as balanced and reports compatibility with other server-side mods.
Server owners who want to manage permissions can use LuckPerms support, which the mod includes. Grimoire is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric only, with files covering 1.14 – 26.3 across 48 release versions. The latest Fabric file is grimoire-1.0.0-beta6+1.19.4 for 26.3, dated 2026-09-17. Public links exist for the source code, the issue tracker and the wiki.
