GoldenTweaks StationAPI
by Telvarost
GoldenTweaks StationAPI gives gold tools and gold armor special properties on the Babric loader for Minecraft b1.7.3.
What it does
Gold tools gain effects that normally belong to enchantments: a gold axe and a gold shovel can use Silk Touch, and the gold tools can apply bonus drops to blocks and mobs. Gold armor provides small advantages, and those effects are limited mostly to certain mob types. Babric and StationAPI are the loader and API this build runs on, and StationAPI is listed as optional for the grass block item renderer fix.
The mod is open source under the MIT License and is published for Babric and Fabric on b1.7.3 only. Snapshot builds are published. Players join a multiplayer server without special steps once the server and clients both run the mod, and the author notes that multiplayer syncing of configs works with GlassConfigAPI version 3.0 or later. Mod Menu is an optional dependency for players who want to change settings from a menu.
Because the environment is client and server, both the server and every player need the mod for the gold tool and armor changes to behave the same across a world. Public links to the source code and the issue tracker are available. The first release was published on 2024-04-18 and the last update on 2025-02-16.

Use cases
Gold-based survival
Players who prefer gold gear over iron can use Silk Touch and bonus drops without enchanting or finding those items.
Who it’s for: Players who run Babric or Fabric on Minecraft b1.7.3, and server owners who want consistent gold tool behavior across a world.
How it compares
Midas Touch is a Babric mod for b1.7.3 under the MIT License, open source, and it runs on client and server. Better Silk-Touch is a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.11, under the Apache License 2.0, and it is client-side only, so servers do not need it. Toggle Fortune targets Fabric on 1.21.1 and is not open source.
