Goety Iron
by k1sak1
Goety Iron connects Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks to Goety, turning certain creatures from that spell mod into servants a player can command.
What it does
Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks mobs become Goety servants. Servants can be created by summoning them through a focus, or by transforming them in a ritual. Once summoned, a servant follows commands, and a spellcaster servant can learn extra spells and be strengthened with upgrade orbs.
The servant roster includes the Flamebearer, Pyromancer, Cryomancer, Cleric, Archevoker, Necromancer, Ancient Knight, Dead King and Alchemist servants. The add-on needs Goety and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, and it can be added to a modpack or a server directly. Client and server both need it, so every player on a server running it must install it too.
Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. The Forge file 2.2 for 1.20.1 and the NeoForge file 3.1 for 1.21.1 are the latest releases, both dated 2026-08-16. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Use cases
Modpack and server use
The add-on can be dropped into a modpack or a server, so server owners can offer spell-based servants without extra setup.
Who it’s for: Players who already run Goety and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks and want their spellcasting creatures to serve as Goety servants. Server owners building a modpack around both mods are a natural audience.
How it compares
Goety Ominous is also a Goety add-on for Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 under the MIT License, so its code is shared differently than Goety Iron, which is all rights reserved. Alshanex's Familiars works on Forge and NeoForge for the same range but is not an Iron's Spells integration, so it adds a different set of companions.
