Goety Ominous
Goety Ominous adds new servant types and staff spells to the Goety necromancy system, letting players command a wider army of summoned creatures.
What it does
The addon extends Goety's servants beyond the Illagers. New servant types cover a wider range of creatures, and a Summon command produces each one with its own behaviors and abilities. Illager-themed content from the original mod is no longer the only option for an army.
Goety Ominous also connects Goety's necromancy with creatures from other mods. Several optional dependencies, including Alex's Caves, Alex's Mobs, Illage and Spillage: Respillaged, Mutant More, Opposing Force, Savage & Ravage and Upgrade Aquatic, can be summoned through Goety's core mechanics. The addon requires Goety - The Dark Arts, and Illage and Spillage: Respillaged is listed as an optional dependency.
Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 7 release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.1. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and the code is under the MIT License, though the project is not open source. Balance settings for each servant type can be adjusted, including health, damage, speed, armor and follow range.
