GappleCraft 2.0 adds an enchanted golden apple recipe and a Blaze Powder infusion system that boosts Simple Apple Tree harvests on Forge.
What it does
Players infuse an apple leaf with Blaze Powder, and the effect spreads to the whole tree. A boosted tree lasts three harvest cycles, and each cycle draws down one charge. Once the third cycle ends, the tree reverts to normal, though infused trees gave better drops while the boost held, including a higher chance of Golden Apples and Enchanted Golden Apples. Visual and sound feedback marks each step.
The mod is built to work alongside Simple Apple Tree and does not replace its features. Jade integration shows the growth percentage, maturity status, Blaze infusion status and the number of remaining boosted harvests when a player looks at a tree. Because the recipe for Enchanted Golden Apples uses Lapis Lazuli, Blaze Powder and Glowstone Dust, the new crafting path fits into existing progression. The recipe is compatible with JEI.
Installation requires Forge for 1.20.1 and Simple Apple Tree, while Jade is optional and recommended. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and the mod is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source.
