GabCraft19's Medieval Spears adds several spear types to Fabric, each with its own damage, attack speed and reach, crafted from familiar materials.
What it does
Spears join the game's melee options as a separate weapon class. Each type has its own damage, attack speed and reach, so players can pick one for a close fight, a longer thrust or a slower, heavier hit. Recipes use materials that already appear in survival play, keeping the new weapons in the same progression as the rest of the game.
The weapons are tuned to keep existing combat balance intact, so they add choices without replacing swords or axes. The mod is built as part of the GabCraft19 series and requires GabCraft19's Weapons API, which must be installed alongside it on Fabric. Both the server and every player need it, and files are published under the MIT License, which is not open source.
