FrozenLib
by FrozenBlock
FrozenLib gives other mods a shared set of tools for block ticks, sounds, configs, hopper rules and math, and is used as a dependency by FrozenBlock's own mods.
What it does
Most of FrozenLib's content is code that other mods call instead of writing their own. It covers custom scheduled tick methods that can be attached to any block, a way for Dripstone to trigger ticks on other blocks, and helpers for drying out and dripping from blocks. Item cooldowns can be shortened, and advanced configs can be built with it.
Sound handling is another part: moving looping sounds, custom flyby sounds and a controllable stop condition are available to developers. A hopper-blocking option can be set on any BlockEntity, and advanced math operations and noise sampling are included. The library also carries a port of Quilt's data-fixing API, which reads and upgrades saved data between versions.
FrozenLib requires Fabric API. Cloth Config API and Mod Menu are optional. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. It is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 27 release versions, 1.19 – 26.3, and is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly.
Key features
Custom scheduled ticks
Any block can be given a custom scheduledTick method, and Dripstone can be made to trigger a tick on that block.
Block drying and dripping
Blocks can be set to dry out and drip, using the same helpers that Dripstone uses.
Configurable sounds
Looping moving sounds and custom flyby sounds can be played, with a custom interface that decides when they stop.
Hopper and cooldown control
Hoppers can be disabled for any BlockEntity, and item cooldowns can be shortened.
Math and noise utilities
Advanced math operations and noise sampling are provided for use in mod code.

Use cases
Building on FrozenBlock mods
Simple Copper Pipes, Wilder Wild, Particle Tweaks, Luna Slimes and Trailier Tales all require it, so it is installed with them.
Adding block behavior
A modder who wants custom ticks or dripstone-driven changes on existing blocks can use the scheduled tick helpers instead of writing them from scratch.
Who it’s for: The mod is aimed at modders and server owners who run mods that depend on it. Players rarely interact with it directly, since it adds no items or blocks of its own.
