FreeFallMod gives Forge players two new falling modes, a slow float and a fast dive, bound to keys.

What it does

Pressing R starts Freefall, which slows the fall speed to a constant rate, while Shift starts Freefall Dive, which makes the fall four times faster, also at a constant speed. The mod needs playerAnimator on Forge 1.20.1 and is licensed under the MIT License without being open source. It runs client and server, so the server and every player install it.

Key features

  1. Freefall float

    Holding the R key slows the descent to a steady speed instead of accelerating under gravity.

  2. Freefall Dive

    The Shift key drops the player four times faster than a normal fall, at a fixed speed.

  3. Constant fall speed

    Both modes keep the falling speed constant once they start, rather than building up with height.
