Forgotten Lands is a Forge mod for 1.16.5 that adds three dimensions, seven biomes and new structures to explore.
What it does
The mod adds three new dimensions with seven biomes in total, along with about ten new points of interest inside them. Some of these hold fossils that can be mined for bone-based swords and armor, and the mineshafts found underground run very deep. A large temple sits at the center of the exploration, and the author describes the goal as finding it, much like locating a stronghold in vanilla.
New content covers weapons, items, decorations and crafting. A Submarine and other items are included, along with five decorations such as vases, a stool and a white rose. A Bone Boiler is a new crafting station whose recipes are listed in a book crafted at a smithing table, since they do not appear in JEI. Forge is required, and the server is the only side that needs the mod, so players join without installing it. Files exist only for 1.16.5, with 1.10.2.1 as the latest Forge file, published 2023-12-23.

I strongly recommend using JEI (Just Enough Items Mod) Build versions next to file names are not minecraft versions that they'll work on. Those numbers are the version of the mod and 1.10.2.1 is the latest and most bug-free version at the moment.
