Flashback Essentials Compatibility
Flashback Essentials Compatibility connects the Essential mod's cosmetics and emotes to Flashback replays, so capes, hats, wings and emotes play back as the editor sets them.
What it does
Flashback records a player's Essential cosmetics, capes, emotes and outfits as part of a replay, and this mod makes the playback match the editor exactly. The cosmetics a player bought do not decide what appears, since the editor can override them per replay. Outfits saved in one replay can be reused in another, and cosmetics can be swapped at any point in a shot when someone changes outfit mid-scene.
The mod covers emotes as well. An Essential emote plays in the replay whether or not the original player used one there, its duration can follow the emote itself, and it can be frozen on a single frame to pose a player still for a shot. Replay timescale is respected, so slowed or sped-up footage keeps the emote in step. Flashback Essentials Compatibility requires Flashback. Builds exist for Fabric only, for 1.21 – 26.3, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
