Fabulous Blade adds swords with distinct attack mechanics, a katana combo and reforges that grant critical stats, all for NeoForge 1.21.1.
What it does
The mod adds several new swords, each with its own combat behavior, and it is built to work with Better Combat, which provides unique attack styles for the weapons. Better Combat is a required dependency, and Apothic Attributes with AttributesLib must also be installed because the unique sword attributes depend on them. Only the NeoForge loader is supported, and the files target 1.21.1 alone.
Swords follow a structured damage formula meant to keep the weapons balanced against one another. Reforges can grant Critical Chance and Critical Damage, and the crafting system has been reworked with optimized recipes for forging the stronger weapons. Legendary weapons need Reforge Templates, which can be found in abandoned mineshafts, desert pyramids, jungle temples and weaponsmith houses.
Both the server and every player need the mod, since the environment is client and server. The license is custom and the code is not open source, although public source code links exist.

Lunar Swords is a client and server mod for NeoForge 1.21.1 – 1.21.8 under the Apache License 2.0, so it covers a wider version range than this mod. Just Katanas is also client and server for NeoForge and targets 1.20.6 – 1.21.1 under the MIT License, making it an option for players who want katanas on older builds. Emerald Blade targets only NeoForge 1.21.4 and is released under All rights reserved, so it does not match this mod's 1.21.1 target.
