Jimmer for Fabric gives other Fabric mods access to the Jimmer SQL-first Java and Kotlin ORM.
What it does
Jimmer adds no content to Minecraft itself. It supplies the database layer that other Fabric mods build on, so a mod can define entities, map them to tables and run queries without writing its own persistence code. The mod is open source under the Apache License 2.0 and is required by Authenticate, which installs it as a dependency.
The server must run Jimmer, while players may leave it out. Files are published for Fabric only, and the latest build, 1.0.5+jimmer.0.12.4, targets 26.3 and was released on 2026-10-07. Fabric Language Kotlin is an optional companion for Kotlin-based mods.
Jimmer's API is built around type-safe SQL queries checked at compile time, declarative entity definitions and a fluent Kotlin DSL. Its query API covers joins, subqueries and aggregations, and generated SQL is optimized for speed. Developers who want these features in their own mods add the library as a dependency rather than installing it separately for players.
