ExtraRTP
by Vecoo
ExtraRTP adds random teleportation to a server, sending players to random points across the available dimensions on a configurable cooldown.
What it does
Players are moved to a random point in the world with a command, and the mod can also send a player on their first entry to the server. Teleportation can span the dimensions the server has enabled, so a destination may be in the Overworld, the Nether or the End. A cooldown limits how often each player can use the feature, and the server controls its length.
The mod is optimized for busy servers and can be configured in full, so owners decide which dimensions, cooldowns and first-entry behavior apply. It requires ExtraLib on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Only the server needs ExtraRTP installed, and players join without installing it. The mod is open source under the MIT License and is published for 1.16.5 – 1.21.1, with the latest files for 1.21.1 on Fabric and NeoForge and for 1.20.1 on Forge.
Key features
Random world teleportation
A command sends the player to a random point in the world, giving a quick way to explore unfamiliar terrain.
Cross-dimension destinations
Teleports can land in any dimension the server makes available, not only the one the player is standing in.
First-entry teleport
New players can be moved to a random point the first time they join, so every new character starts somewhere away from spawn.
Cooldown control
A cooldown between teleports stops repeated use, and the server sets its duration in the configuration.

Use cases
Survival servers
Server owners add a random teleport command to give players a reason to travel and explore the world.
Adventure maps
Map makers use the first-entry option to scatter new arrivals across a large world instead of spawn.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want a random teleport command with a cooldown, and players on servers that run it. Single-player worlds do not need the mod.
How it compares
Dialog Teleport is open source under the GNU General Public License v2.0 only, with files for 1.21.6 – 1.21.11. It is server required and client optional, so it differs from ExtraRTP in its version range and environment. Simple Homes (/home) runs on client and server, is not open source and is published under All rights reserved for 1.20.1 – 1.21.11, so it covers home points rather than random destinations.
