Extra Entity Attributes
by Fneifnox
Extra Entity Attributes adds 21 new attributes to Minecraft Java Edition, covering hunger, food, drinking, fishing, sprinting and dodge chances, for other mods and datapacks to read and set.
What it does
Each new attribute controls one value that vanilla does not expose: the maximum hunger a player can hold, how strongly food restores hunger and saturation, how quickly a player eats or drinks, how long status effects from potions and beacons last, and how much hunger sprinting costs. Other attributes change the cost of expensive items bought from villagers, the percentage of health or hunger stolen when a living entity deals damage, and the chance that an entity dodges a hit, with 1 meaning invincible.
The attributes also serve as an API, so other mods can read and write them, and players can set specific values for their own world. Fishing duration, the wait before a fish appears, the additional luck that brings treasure within 100 blocks of the Luck of the Sea, sprinting speed and crossbow pull time can all be adjusted the same way. The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Fabric API is a required dependency, and Quilt is supported alongside Fabric. Files target 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.6.4 for 1.21.1 as the latest file.
