eXc Timer
by eXcPassi
eXc Timer puts a lightweight stopwatch on the screen, which players can start, pause and reset from chat commands while playing.
What it does
The stopwatch is drawn as a clean HUD timer centered above the hotbar, and it shows elapsed time in an adaptive format that only includes the units needed, such as 3min 5sec, 2h 3min 5sec or 1d 2h 3min 5sec. Chat commands control everything, so no keybinding or menu is involved.
Progress is saved per world, so a timer picks up right where it left off when the world is loaded again. The timer can be used to track time spent on a build, a speedrun or a challenge without leaving the game. The mod is a Fabric client mod that runs on the client only, so servers do not need it, and players who join a server without installing it see nothing extra.
The mod is published for Fabric only, for game version 26.2, with its 1.0.0 file dated 2026-06-24, the same day it was first published and last updated. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
Key features
On-screen stopwatch
A small timer above the hotbar shows elapsed time with a turquoise purple gradient, kept clear of the rest of the interface.
Chat command control
Starting, stopping and resetting the timer is done through chat commands rather than a menu or keybinding.
Adaptive time format
The display adds hours and days only when they are needed, so short runs stay readable.
Saved per world
Each world keeps its own timer progress, which resumes when the world is opened again.

Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Timing builds and runs
A player who wants to measure how long a project or a run takes can start the timer and keep playing while it counts.
Tracking a session
Because progress is stored per world, a timer can span several play sessions in the same world.
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who want a simple elapsed-time display in singleplayer or on a server, and who prefer to control it with chat commands rather than a dedicated menu.
How it compares
Challenge Timer by OPNiki is also a client-side Fabric mod for 26.2 – 26.3, but it is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. TimerWave is a Fabric mod for 1.21.11 that is open source under the MIT License, and it is server required with the client optional, so servers must run it. SkyTracker is client-side only for 1.21.11 and released under the MIT License, but it is not open source, and it targets an earlier game version than eXc Timer.
