Everything is Copper

by LobsterJonn

Everything is Copper gives copper a role across the game, with copper versions of iron blocks, items and armor, for players who want more uses for the metal.

What it does

The mod adds copper versions of many blocks and items that vanilla makes from iron. Copper Golems, copper doors, trapdoors, pressure plates, bars, lanterns and chains are included, as is a full set of copper helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots. Its author aims to close the gap in how much content iron and copper receive from version 1.18 onward.

Copper blocks and items weather over time through four variants: unaffected, exposed, weathered and oxidized, matching the vanilla copper blocks. The mod is installed on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, across 11 release versions, 1.18.1 – 1.21.1, with 2.3.4 as the latest Forge file and 2.4.2 as the latest NeoForge file. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved. Public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker.

Key features

  1. Copper Golems

A golem made of copper joins the mod's entities, adding a copper counterpart to the iron golem.

  2. Copper building blocks

Doors, trapdoors, pressure plates, bars, lanterns and chains are crafted from copper for decorative and functional builds.

  3. Copper armor set

Helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots made of copper give players an equipment tier between leather and iron.

  4. Weathering variants

Copper blocks change through four weathering stages, so builds shift in color as they age in the world.

Use cases

Decorative copper builds

Who it’s for: Players who want copper to have more uses in survival play, and server owners who run modpacks for Forge or NeoForge and want copper content beyond vanilla.
