EpicChat
by EpicBry
EpicChat lets a server owner restyle chat, including hex and legacy color codes, the chat format and nickname handling on a server.
What it does
EpicChat changes how chat messages look on a server. Server owners can set a custom default chat format and allow hex colors (such as abc123) as well as legacy color and formatting codes using a-f and 0-9. Nicknames can be set and removed with a nick command and a delnick command. The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything.
Prefixes, suffixes and permission nodes are supported through LuckPerms, which is listed as an optional dependency. Fabric API is required. EpicChat is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 13 release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.11, and the code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
