With Enhanced Sleep Progression installed, a night skipped by sleeping advances crops, furnaces, brewing stands and hoppers by the exact time slept.
What it does
When players sleep, the game time that passes is applied to the overworld. Plants that grow over time, from cocoa and saplings to kelp and bamboo, advance, and melon and pumpkin stems mature. Furnaces, smokers, blast furnaces, brewing stands and campfires keep working, and baby mobs grow up, during the skipped ticks. Item movement through hoppers and auto-crafters continues too, so automatic sorters and smelters still run after a sleep.
The mod stays lightweight and does not force chunk loads, so players far from their crops are not loaded just to be advanced. Work is spread across ticks to avoid lag spikes, and the mod uses safe ticking paths so it can play well with other mods. Outside post-sleep progression, normal gameplay remains vanilla. The server alone needs the mod, since it is server-side only, and players join without installing anything.
