Enchantment Extraction Book lets a player pull enchantments off an enchanted item in the off hand and keep the item intact.

What it does

Holding the book in the main hand and right-clicking with an enchanted weapon, tool or piece of armor in the off hand moves its enchantments onto the book without destroying the item. The process replaces building a custom server command setup, which the author describes as lengthy, tedious and costly. Because it needs to run on the server, the server must install the mod, while players may add it on the client.

The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, across 13 release versions covering 1.21.4 – 26.3. Its code is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later.
