Enchantment Effects
Enchantment Effects gives armor-style enchantment effects to items that have no enchantment of their own, so several blocks and potions can carry one.
What it does
Each effect is tied to a specific item, such as prismarine shards for Aqua Affinity, fire coral fans for Respiration, sea pickles for Feather Falling, blue ice for Soul Speed, gilded blackstone for Swift Sneak, echo shards for Thorns and cactus for Mending. The items are only needed to apply the effect, so a player can enchant gear in the usual way while following these recipes.
Some effects stack. Mending, Frost Walker and Feather Falling can be combined up to a level of 255. Feather Falling reaches full fall resistance at level 10, and Frost Walker covers a radius of 10 at its maximum. Mending can be raised to level 20. Enchanted Book entries and potion effects are also covered, and one requirement follows the Awkward Potion used to create the effect.
The mod is a Fabric client and server mod, so the server and every player must run it. It is published only for 1.20, with the 1.0.4-1.20 file dated 2023-07-08, and its source code is public while the code remains under All rights reserved.
