Enchantments Plus

by Forest

Enchantments Plus adds new enchantments and changes some existing ones on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for 1.21 – 1.21.4.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalApache License 2.01.21 – 1.21.4

What it does

Among the additions are a lightweight enchantment, a sculk speed enchantment that behaves like soul speed, and a knockback resistance enchantment. The mod also adds three enchantments that reshape how crossbows and bows work. Some new enchantments are found in End City and Ancient City chests, while others are gained through enchanting, trading or loot. Sharpness now applies to tridents and axes, and it conflicts with impaling.

The server must run the mod for these enchantments to work, so every player connecting to it needs no install but the server does. Installing it on a client alone does not change gameplay. Files are published for four loaders across five release versions, 1.21 – 1.21.4, and the code is under the Apache License 2.0, which does not make the project open source. The Data pack option is also listed for server platforms. Beyond the optional No Enchant Block, nothing else is needed.

Key features

  1. Sculk speed enchantment

A boots enchantment that gives speed on sculk, similar to soul speed, found in Ancient City chests.

  2. Knockback resistance

A chestplate enchantment that reduces knockback, and a full set of netherite armor with it makes the wearer immune to knockback.

  3. Weapon and ranged changes

Sharpness works on tridents and axes, while infinity, multishot, piercing, power and punch are reworked for bows and crossbows.

  4. Enchantment interactions

Mending and infinity can be combined, and infinity, multishot and piercing are incompatible with other enchantments as listed in the mod.
