EmoteSpecific

by PGC

EmoteSpecific is a Fabric addon for Emotecraft that adds 70 emote pages, custom render distances and an instant sync button to the client.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.20.1

What it does

Players who use Emotecraft can open the emote wheel and work through 70 emote pages added by this mod. Render distance is set per player, so emotes can be seen from a chosen range, and an instant sync button lets the client resend its emote state without waiting for the next update. Emotes can be tuned in game and the default wheel can be replaced, which gives players more control over what the wheel shows.

The mod requires Emotecraft, and ModMenu is recommended because the settings for wheel size, render distance and the sync button are reached through it. Everything in the settings can be adjusted in game without editing files. EmoteSpecific is client-side only: it runs with the Fabric loader for 1.20.1, and the server needs Emotecraft installed for emotes to work. The mod is released under the MIT License but is not open source.

Key features

  1. 70 emote pages

Seventy additional emote pages are available on the wheel, extending the set that Emotecraft provides by default.

  2. Custom render distance

The distance at which other players' emotes are drawn can be set, so emotes stay visible at the range the player wants.

  3. Instant sync button

A button forces an immediate emote sync, useful when an emote state looks out of date with other players.

  4. Wheel and default replacement

The emote wheel size can be changed and the default emotes can be removed, so the wheel holds only the emotes the player picks.

  5. In-game configuration

Every option is adjustable in game through the ModMenu screen, including wheel size, render distance and the sync button.

How it compares

Full comparison

Emotecraft x Easy NPC is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11, with the client required and the server optional, under All rights reserved, so it does not cover the 1.20.1 range of this mod. EmoteSounds is a Fabric client-side mod released under the MIT License but not open source, published for 26.2, so it adds sounds instead of extra emote pages. Twitch Emotes is a client-side Fabric mod for 1.20 – 26.3 under the MIT License and open source, aimed at chat emotes rather than player emotes.
