Elemental Blades
by HiddenThorn
Elemental Blades adds seven new swords for Forge and NeoForge, each built from a Netherite sword and a crafting-table recipe, and most with a special right-click ability.
What it does
Seven swords join the game as late-game weapons. Each one is crafted by surrounding a Netherite Sword with a specific material in a crafting table. Six have a themed element, and each grants the holder two potion effects while held. The swords are aimed at players who have reached Netherite gear and want more variety in combat.
The Lava Sword replaces the block it is aimed at with lava on a right click and gives Fire Resistance 5, so the holder takes no fire or lava damage. The Lightning Sword strikes the targeted block entity with lightning and grants Fire Resistance 1 and Speed 1. The Ice Sword raises a two-block-high pillar of ice on a right click and gives Water Breathing 1 and Slow Falling 1.
The Sand Sword inflicts wither, slowness and weakness on an enemy struck with it and gives Luck 1 and Regeneration 1. The Earth Sword drags a struck enemy beneath the ground, with a chance to escape, and gives Resistance 1 and Strength 1. The Wind Sword completes the set. Elemental Blades runs on Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1, 26.1.2 and five versions between them. It is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 and is not open source.
