Easy Configs
by Kd_Gaming1
With Easy Configs, a player can save the current settings to one of nine slots and switch between them later.
What it does
Easy Configs saves a set of mod configuration files and restores them on demand. Each set is kept in a numbered slot from 1 to 9, and loading a slot brings back the configuration stored in it. When loading, the player chooses whether the Minecraft options are restored as well or left as they are.
The mod gives players and modpack creators a graphical screen for managing their configurations, reachable from the pause menu once the mod is installed. Configurations can be exported to a file and imported again, so a set can be moved to another instance. Modpack creators can ship default settings with their pack and keep them through later updates, which helps keep the play experience the same across installs. The mod does not copy every config folder by itself, so some mods still need their files copied by hand when a set is moved.
Easy Configs is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.8.9 and runs on the client only, so servers do not need it. It is released under a custom license and is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
