Dynamic Hearts
Dynamic Hearts ties maximum health to experience level, so a player starts with one heart and gains more as levels are reached.
What it does
A new character begins with 2.0 HP, one heart. Each set number of experience levels adds one extra heart, up to a cap of 10 hearts. Experience levels required per extra heart can be changed in the config file, and the starting value and cap are configurable too.
On death the player drops 100% of experience by default, and the XP drop multiplier can be set to 0.5 for half or 0.0 for total loss. Collecting the lost experience restores the health pool. The default mechanics are the ones described here, and the config file lets server owners adjust them.
Dynamic Hearts is a Fabric mod for 26.3 and the 1.20.5 – 26.3 range, and it is not open source. It is released under All rights reserved. It must be installed on both client and server, since every player on a server running it needs the mod. Fabric API is not listed as a requirement by this catalog entry.
