Druids (RPG Series Plus)
by Sigma Co.
Druids, from the RPG Series Plus family, adds a druid class with nature spells, staves and wands, runes used as ammunition, and craftable equipment that boosts spell damage.
What it does
A player becomes a druid by creating a Spell Book, which opens access to the class's spells. A Nature Staff or Nature Wand comes with the first spell. Spell Binding Tables can be found in villages and Gazebos, or built with bookshelves placed around them. Once a spell book is equipped or held, the matching weapon casts the spells. Runes work as ammunition: they are loaded and cast much like arrows and bows. Crafting recipes for runes are described in the mod's documentation.
Druid spells can engulf foes in deadly vines, poison targets and hold them down while damage is dealt over time. Nature Staves and Wands supply the spell attribute each spell needs. The mod also adds craftable druid armor and equipment with bonuses to spell damage, plus two armor sets, Fatal Poison Potions, and a Druid Camp where magic equipment and artifacts can be found. Spell casting mechanics and the HUD are configured under Mod Menu, in the Spell Engine Settings screen.
Druids needs Armor Model API, More RPG Library, Skill Tree (RPG Series) and Spell Engine. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and is released under the MIT License, so the code is open source.
Key features
Druid spell book
Creating a spell book gives access to the druid's spells, and the first spell comes with a Nature Staff or Nature Wand.
Vine and poison spells
Spells engulf foes in deadly vines and poison them, holding targets in place while damage accumulates over time.
Runes as ammunition
Runes are loaded and cast like arrows fired from bows, turning the rune into the projectile of a spell.
Craftable druid equipment
New equipment with bonuses that boost spell damage can be crafted, along with two armor sets and Fatal Poison Potions.
Druid Camp and Binding Table
A Druid Camp holds magic equipment and artifacts, and a Spell Binding Table can be found in villages or built around bookshelves.

How it compares
Additional Jewelry is open source under the MIT License and runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 with client and server, adding jewelry rather than druid spells. Archers Expansion covers the same loaders and versions and the same client and server environment, but its code is under All rights reserved. Elemental Wizards is also All rights reserved, and it adds a separate wizard class that does not share the druid's spell book.
