Dissonance
by sylvxa
Dissonance links a Minecraft server to a Discord server so chat messages pass in both directions.
What it does
Messages sent in the linked Discord channel appear in game, and chat from the server shows up in Discord. Server owners set up the link through the mod's configuration, which has more options than a basic setup and opens on its own settings page. The mod runs on the server only, so players join without installing anything. Fabric and NeoForge builds are published, and the mod is released under the MIT License as open source. Fabric API is required on Fabric, and Forge Config API Port is required on NeoForge.
Key features
Two-way chat bridge
Chat is relayed between the Minecraft server and a Discord channel in both directions.
Advanced configuration
A dedicated settings page lets server owners adjust the link beyond the default options.
Server-only setup
Only the server runs the bridge, so players connect to it with an unmodified client.
