Disenchantments
by Hedwig7s
Disenchantments reverses the usual effect of many enchantments, so a weapon or armor piece with an enchantment works in the opposite direction.
What it does
The mod adds enchantments whose numbers match the vanilla ones but apply flipped: some lower the damage a weapon deals, others damage equipment when experience is collected, and others add a chance to take double damage from arthropods. It runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it, and Fabric API is required. Files are published for Fabric and Forge for 1.19.2 only, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.
Key features
Reversed enchantments
Enchantments whose effects are the opposite of their vanilla counterparts, with the same numeric values.
Fire and decay effects
Attacked mobs can receive fire resistance lasting 4 to 8 seconds, depending on the enchantment level, or a decaying effect.
Arthropod changes
One enchantment reduces the damage dealt to arthropods and grants Speed IV, while another adds a chance to take double damage from them.
