Dimensions & Dungeons adds new dimensions, biomes, mobs, bosses, structures, flowers and food to Minecraft, with dimensional travel keys for moving between worlds.
What it does
The mod opens a set of new dimensions and biomes, among them Eternal Forest, Eternal Dark Forest, Eternal Desert, Amethyst Grottoes, Amazonian Hollows, Caverns and Hell, plus one dimension called Hot Plains. Each dimension has its own mobs, bosses and structures, such as ancient dungeons, goblin huts, villages and a massive tree.
Travel between the overworld and the new dimensions is handled by items. Dimensional keys are built from fragments, and a key only works once it is crafted into a Dimensional Traveller. To return to the overworld, a player crafts a Dimensional Reverser and uses it with a right click.
The mod requires Geckolib to run, so Geckolib must be installed next to it. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for NeoForge 1.21.1 under the MIT License, with the latest file 0.5.0.1 dated 2026-08-21. The author marks it as an alpha build, so some bugs and unfinished features should be expected.

Several new biomes and one new dimension, Hot Plains, extend the world with forests, deserts, grottoes and caverns.
New mobs and bosses
Friendly and hostile creatures, including the Magic Fairy, Woodsper, Goblin and Crystal Golem, come with new bosses.
Keys and minerals
Keys, mineral-based armor and tools, and dimensional travel items open access to the new worlds.
Structures and flowers
Ancient dungeons, goblin huts, villages, a massive tree and an arachnid cavern generate alongside new flowers such as the purple allium and pink lily of the valley.

Who it’s for: Players who want more dimensions, bosses and structures in a NeoForge 1.21.1 world. Server owners need to install it on the server and on every client, together with Geckolib.
How it compares
The Star Forest is a NeoForge mod for 1.21.4 under All rights reserved, and it is not open source. Knaprium Eternal is a NeoForge mod for 1.21.1 under the MIT License, but it is not open source. Eternal Starlight supports Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21 – 1.21.1 and is open source under the MIT License. All of these alternatives run on client and server.
