Delta Force Armor System

by Mirage_Lab

Delta Force Armor System adds a tiered repair kit system for armor on Minecraft 1.21.11, with five kit tiers that repair helmets and chestplates.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21.11

What it does

Five repair kit tiers, from Copper to Netherite, restore durability to leather, copper, chainmail, iron and other armor. Each tier is tuned differently: the Copper kit handles the entry level, the Iron kit covers the middle range, and the Diamond kit uses less durability per repair, while the Netherite kit works across all armor tiers. Repair anvils accept iron ingots as an alternative way to fix armor.

The mod changes what happens when armor runs out of durability. Armor that reaches zero stays in the inventory and keeps appearing on the character, but it provides no protection and its enchantments stop working until it is repaired. Durability transfer and depletion rules are part of the repair kit system. Delta Force Armor System requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and runs on client and server. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.11.

Key features

  1. Five repair kit tiers

Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite kits each repair a different set of armor materials.

  2. Zero-durability armor stays

Armor that breaks remains in the inventory and on the character instead of disappearing.

  3. Repair anvils

Anvils can repair armor with iron ingots, in addition to the repair kits.

  4. Configurable damage and options

More than 47 options are exposed through Cloth Config, covering repair and durability behavior.

  5. Upscaled item textures

Item textures are 128×128 with transparent backgrounds and display at 32×32 in game.

What the author says

A comprehensive armor management overhaul for Minecraft 1.21.11 that introduces a tiered repair kit system, changes how armor breaks, and gives you full control over durability mechanics.
