Deformation Dimension adds a late-game dungeon-like dimension called Deformation, reached through End cities and used to obtain elytra, which can be found there.
What it does
Elytras found in End cities and ships are replaced with a Deformation Entrance. Activating it teleports the player to a dimension that generates a unique layout on each visit. Inside, players work through several rooms with different challenges, including mob fights, basic parkour puzzles and custom mini-bosses, before reaching the center where elytras are obtained. The design is meant to make acquiring elytras more involved, which is why the mod is classed as a nerf to the elytra.
End Fever, a sickness that makes flying with elytras harder in the End, is also added by the mod. Its effects are mitigated by drinking milk regularly, and an enchantment that is rarely found inside the dimension can be used to counter it. Collecting several elytras therefore adds depth to the End. Continuity, ETF, EMF and Disable Custom Worlds Advice are required or bundled for textures, models and CTM, and the mod runs on the server, with clients optional. Files are published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.21.4, and the mod is not open source.

How it compares
NoElytraForYou is server-side and works with Forge and Quilt as well, under the MIT License, for 1.21 – 1.21.4, so players can join without installing it. Harder Elytras is another elytra change, but for 1.21.6 on Fabric only, under a Creative Commons license that is not open source, and it runs on client and server.
