Death Note REMASTERED brings the Death Note anime's notebook into Minecraft, letting players write names in a book that ends the life of whoever is written in it.
What it does
The mod adds a Death Note item based on the Japanese anime of the same name, updated in its newer versions. Players write a name in the book to have that person die, and the death follows a set of rules that the book itself defines, so the item is meant to be used with care. Players on Forge and NeoForge can take part, and the mod is built for roleplay as well as survival play.
Installation needs the mod on the client and on the server, since the environment is client and server, meaning the server and every player must run it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge for five game versions, 1.16.5 – 1.21.1, with 1.0.0 as the latest build for both loaders, released 2024-08-28. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
