DayNight Control
by Hejko
Players who want to change how long a Minecraft day and night last can use DayNight Control, which adds settings for the day-night cycle, sleep and a clock on the HUD.
What it does
The mod gives full control over the day and night cycle. Day length and night length can be set in real-world minutes, and sleep behavior can be adjusted. Those settings stay synchronized in both singleplayer and multiplayer worlds, and changes take effect at once without a server restart. Server admins set the values, and connected clients sync with them automatically.
A visual ring on the HUD shows the proportion of day and night for the chosen lengths, and a compass in the inventory HUD can be renamed at an anvil so the name appears on screen. A compass tied to another dimension shows a gray face and spins in place. Sleeping speeds the clock up in step with how many players are in bed. Settings are reachable through the Mod Menu GUI or an in-game console, and with Serene Seasons installed a new tab lets players set a separate day-night ratio for each season.
DayNight Control runs on the client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the latest files target 26.3. Builds cover 1.21.1 – 26.3 across 13 release versions, and the mod is released under the MIT License. Installation has no other dependency listed.
