XenDrops (Formerly CustomDrops)
XenDrops, formerly CustomDrops, lets a server owner change what blocks and mobs drop, and where those drops apply, without editing a config file.
What it does
Drops are set per region, so the same block or mob can yield different loot in different areas. A region can be made global, and any block or mob can be blacklisted in specific regions or worlds. Settings are changed through an in-game GUI, which keeps the configuration files untouched.
Optional triggers add requirements before a drop and follow-up effects after it, such as item-in-hand checks, messages, commands, chance modifiers and mining speed modifiers. These come from the Xenith library, which is not required, so XenDrops runs on its own without it. Custom mining speeds, custom particles, fishing drops and a reward for players who damage a mob are also part of the feature set.
XenDrops is published for Fabric, and server platforms Paper, Spigot, Bukkit and Purpur can run it too. Builds cover 1.14 – 26.3 with 48 release versions, the latest Fabric file is 1.0.8-a for 26.3 on the alpha channel, and snapshot builds are published. The code is not open source, and it is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Region-based drops
Drop rules apply inside chosen regions, and one block or mob can have different loot in each region.
In-game GUI settings
Every option is set through a graphical screen, so the config file never has to be opened.
Block and mob fishing drops
Blocks and mobs can be given custom drops from fishing, extending the vanilla loot tables.
Custom mining speeds and particles
Mining speed can be set for specific blocks in specific regions, and custom particles can mark blocks or mobs that drop custom loot.

Compatibility

This mod also publishes snapshot builds. Snapshots are not shown in the matrix.
Use cases
Who it’s for: Server owners who want control over which vanilla blocks and mobs drop, and where. It fits economy servers, adventure maps and survival worlds that need region-specific loot.
How it compares
Zones is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric 1.21 – 1.21.10; it manages regions in general rather than drops. noVanilla is server required and client optional, under All rights reserved, with a Fabric file for 1.20.1 only. Loot Multiplier is server-side only, under the MIT License, and covers 1.21 – 1.21.11, which makes it a multiplier rather than a per-region drop editor.

As a server owner, I wanted full control over what blocks and mobs drop, without breaking vanilla building blocks or affecting drops server-wide. I searched for a plugin that did this well... and…
