Cursed Loot adds curses to loot found in the world, so players must manage their inventory carefully once they gather it.

What it does

Loot collected in the world can carry random curses that take effect once they are picked up. On the first load of a new world after installing the mod, a base chest is provided, and a base proximity chest can be placed later for use with the curse system. The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge across 13 release versions, 1.16.5 – 1.21, and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source.
