What it does

CurrencyCraft adds coins in six denominations and notes in seven, making a 15-denomination currency system. Coins are fractional currency, while notes cover higher values, and both are crafted as currency items used for trading, storing wealth and making purchases. Players can also carry their wealth in customizable wallets.

Players set up a personal bank account at an ATM and receive a debit card with a unique card ID tied to their account. A card is protected by a 4-digit PIN, and the account's balance is saved across server restarts. Deposits and withdrawals convert physical currency to a digital balance and back, and cards can be cancelled or disabled at an ATM. Cash registers and a banker villager complete the economy.

Installation requires Forge and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need the mod. The latest Forge file is 1.2.1 for 1.20.1, released on 2026-02-14, and the mod was first published on 2025-10-23. It is published under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Multi-denomination currency

Fifteen denominations split between coins and notes, from 1 coin up to 500 units, cover small and large purchases.

  2. Personal bank accounts

Players open a bank account at an ATM and manage it through a personal debit card with a unique card ID.

  3. PIN-protected cards

Each debit card is protected by a 4-digit PIN, and cards can be cancelled or disabled at an ATM.

  4. Persistent balances

Account balances are saved across server restarts, so a player's funds remain after the server stops.

  5. Cash registers and a banker

Cash registers and a banker villager let players buy and sell with the currency and exchange it for balances.
