Croptania
by Chakyl
Croptania is a small Forge addon for Botania that adds crop-related utilities, with a flower that turns grown crops into mana.
What it does
The Cropnolia generating flower consumes fully grown crops and produces mana in proportion to the age of each crop. Players who grow a field of mature plants can route that output into the rest of their Botania setup, so the crop itself becomes a mana source instead of only a food item.
A default datapack disables the crafting recipe for the Agricarnation flower, which the author found extremely overpowered alongside the kind generator. Server owners who want the flower available can remove that datapack entry. Croptania is built against Botania version 447 and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it, and it is published for Forge 1.20.1 only.
Croptania is open source under the MIT License, and its source code and issue tracker are public. The mod was originally created for a Stardew Valley style modpack named Society, and it is now maintained as a standalone mod. The author notes that it is likely to stay compatible whenever Botania updates.
Key features
Cropnolia generating flower
A generating flower consumes grown crops and converts them into mana, scaled by the age of each crop.
Age-based mana output
More mana is produced from fully grown crops than from young ones, so harvest timing affects the yield.
Agricarnation recipe datapack
A bundled datapack disables the crafting recipe for the Agricarnation flower, which can be removed if a server wants it.
Botania integration
The addon is built on top of Botania, so its flowers and mana network work with the rest of that mod.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who already use Botania and want crops to feed its mana system, and server owners who run Botania-based modpacks and want control over the Agricarnation recipe.
How it compares
Just Enough Botania is client-side only, licensed under the MIT License, and covers Forge 1.12.2 – 1.20.1, so it adds recipe viewing without touching the server. Botania Evolved is also open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server for Forge 1.20.1, but it is a separate continuation of the base mod rather than a crop addon. Iron's Botany is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, runs on client and server, and targets Forge 1.20.1.

What the author says
This is a small addon mod for Botania adding the Cropnolia- a Generating Flower that takes fully grown crops and "eats" them, producing mana proportional to the age of the crop. The default datapack also disables the crafting recipe for Agricarnations as they are a tad extremely overpowered with this kind of generator.
