Create Legacy is an unofficial backport of the Create mod to Minecraft 1.12.2, written from scratch for Forge.
What it does
Create Legacy brings the cogwheel and kinetic component machinery of Create to 1.12.2, with machines that automate many processes. The project is an unofficial port: its Java code was written completely from scratch rather than copied from the original, and the original author gave permission to upload it.
Both the server and every player need the mod, so the environment is client and server. It requires MelonLib and MixinBooter 10.7 or higher, and the latest Forge file, 1.12.2-26w19b, is an alpha build from 2026-05-09 for 1.12.2 only. Snapshot builds are not part of the published files, and the license is the MIT License, with source code publicly available.
