Legacy Items

by BloraMc

Legacy Items is a Forge mod for players who want more tools, armor and items to add to a world or modpack, including reinforced diamond gear.

ForgeClient and serverMIT License1.12.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Legacy Items adds a large set of tools and items to the game, with a focus on upgraded versions of familiar gear. Its reinforced diamond tools and armor are an early goal in a new world, and the crafting recipes for the advanced Endium items are the hardest part to obtain. Recipes can be looked up in JEI, which the author recommends alongside the mod, and a recipe guide on the wiki is planned once it is released.

Installation runs on Forge only, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. Files cover three versions: 1.12.2, 1.18.2 and 1.20.1, with 1.0.3 for 1.20.1 as the latest file, first published on 2025-01-18 and last updated on 2025-02-04. The mod is released under the MIT License but is not open source. The author notes that updates for newer Minecraft versions and a Fabric build may follow.

Key features

  1. Many added tools and items

A wide set of tools and items is added to the game, extending the choices available to players.

  2. Reinforced diamond gear

Reinforced diamond tools and armor give an early target for players starting without a modpack.

  3. Endium items

Advanced Endium items sit at the top of the progression and take the most effort to craft.

  4. Included modpack

A modpack built around the mod is included, offering a ready set of content for players.

Use cases

Starting a new world

Players who begin without a modpack can aim for reinforced diamond armor as a first goal.

Modpack play

Modpack builders can add tools and items to a set of mods for a longer progression.

Who it’s for: Players who want additional tools and armor in survival worlds, and modpack builders looking for an item-focused addition. Servers that add the mod need every player to install it as well.

This mod is updated from 1.12.2 to 1.18.2 & 1.20.1, and will maybe be updated to new Minecraft versions, and maybe have a fabric…
