Create: Autonavigation

by Kenin

Create: Autonavigation extends the Create navigation table with direct coordinate input, so steering ships and flying machines no longer depends on a magnetite compass.

NeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.21.1

What it does

An upgraded navigation table, called the Smart Navigation Table, is what the mod adds to the game. Instead of setting up a compass with magnetite, a player enters target coordinates directly through the table's built-in GUI, which also makes crafting the block more comfortable. The original idea of the table stays in place, and the extension adds direct coordinate input on top of it.

Autonavigation is a NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that requires Create Aeronautics. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Its first file was published on 2026-08-12, and the latest NeoForge file, 0.2.1, followed on 2026-10-05.

Key features

  1. Direct coordinate targeting

Target coordinates are typed straight into the Smart Navigation Table, replacing the manual compass setup.

  2. Autopilot control

The table offers autopilot control for Aeronautics vehicles, with faster route setup and more mobility for ships.

  3. Radar and network links

The table can connect to a radar network and aim at radar targets, including on Sable contraptions.

  4. Computer control

A wired modem connects a computer to the table, which then reads the current target and status through a Lua program, using the CC: Tweaked peripheral.

What the author says

In the new update, you can aim Sable contraptions directly at radar targets. To do this, connect the Smart Navigation Table to a radar network. Create: Radar is required for this feature.
