Craftable Totem of Undying gives the Totem of Undying a crafting recipe, so players can make one from ghast tears, emeralds and gold instead of finding it in the world.

What it does

The mod registers a crafting recipe for the Totem of Undying. The recipe uses one ghast tear, two emeralds, two gold blocks and four gold ingots, which lets a player obtain the item at a workbench once the ingredients are collected. Without the mod the totem can only be found in the game world.

Because the change is a recipe, it can be added to an existing world with no new items or blocks in the game. Server owners who want to keep the totem rare can remove the recipe with a data pack. The mod is also distributed as a data pack, so servers can use it without installing a loader mod.

The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 50 release versions, 1.13 – 26.2, and snapshot builds are published as well. The server must run it for the recipe to exist, while players may leave it out. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
