Craftable Gunpowder[MOD] lets players make Gunpowder from Coal, Gravel and Sand, so Creeper drops are no longer the only source of the item.
What it does
The mod adds a crafting recipe for Gunpowder. One Coal or one Charcoal combined with one Gravel yields three Gunpowder, and the ingredients are gathered from the world rather than from mobs. A separate recipe image for the Charcoal variant is included with the files.
Players who need explosives for TNT, fireworks or similar builds can get them without hunting Creepers. The mod is useful in survival worlds and on servers where Gunpowder drops are scarce. Because the change is only a recipe, it adds no new blocks, items or mobs.
Fabric is the only loader supported. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.10 across 17 release versions, and the mod is released under the MIT License.
