ContingameIMESuper is an unofficial continuation of ContingameIME that lets players type with an input method while Minecraft runs full screen.
What it does
The mod targets the Fabric loader and runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it and players join without installing it. Its single build, 1.0.14-1.21.11 for 1.21.11, was first published and last updated on 2026-03-29, and the 7 release versions it covers span 1.20.6 – 1.21.11, including 1.21 and 1.21.1. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only, and its source code is public.
Input is handled through a temporary switch of the input state, so an input method can be used in text fields and chat without leaving full-screen play. Composed text is committed when the player confirms it, and the mouse can move while composition is active. The code builds on the ThinkingStudios/ContingameIME and Windmill-City/IngameIME-Minecraft projects, both under the LGPL-2.1.
Four dependencies are required: Architectury API, Cloth Config API, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, and each must be installed next to the mod.

Chat in full screen
A player who writes in a language that needs an input method can chat without switching the window out of full screen.
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who type in a language that requires an input method, and who play Minecraft in full screen. Only the client needs the mod.
