Consistency+ fills in the missing building block variants for common materials, adding polished, cut, brick, tile, slab, stair and wall forms to vanilla stone and similar blocks.
What it does
The mod adds thousands of building blocks in a fixed progression: a base block goes through polished, bricks, cut and tiles, so each set has the same family of shapes. Materials that already have a few forms in vanilla gain a fuller set, and quartz, for example, receives polished, cut and carved variants along with slabs, stairs and walls for most of them.
Some vanilla recipes are changed so that every added block can be crafted. Most follow a standard 2x2 pattern, while pillars, corner pillars and chiseled blocks use different recipes, and the chiseled form also turns into a carved block through a 2x2 recipe. Architectury API is required on every loader, Fabric API is required on Fabric, and Quilted Fabric API with Quilt Standard Libraries is required on Quilt. On Forge 0.5.1 and older, Stonecutter Recipe Tags is also required so vanilla and added blocks work in stonecutters.
The server and every player need the mod installed. Files cover game versions 1.16.2 – 1.20.1 for Fabric, Forge and Quilt, with 0.5.2-rc.5 for 1.20.1 as the latest build, which is in the beta channel. Consistency+ is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki.

Slabs, stairs and walls
Most added block types also come as slabs, stairs and walls, so building shapes match the base material.
Pillars and corner pillars
Pillar and corner pillar blocks are added for materials with a pillar form in vanilla.
Chiseled and carved blocks
Chiseled blocks can be crafted into carved blocks through a 2x2 recipe, extending the vanilla chiseled set.
Stonecutter support
Recipe changes let vanilla and added blocks be cut in stonecutters, so each base block can be cut into its variants.
