Cool Veinminer

Holding a tool and breaking one block of a vein breaks the other connected blocks of the same kind. The mod works with the default vanilla pickaxes, axes, shovels and hoes, and with tools added by other mods. Vanilla ores are covered by default, and a block group can be set up so that similar blocks count as one type. The maximum vein size is configurable, and a limit on the number of items placed in a vein can be set.

The configuration screen opens in game. Its main section lists the settings, and pages move forward and back with the buttons on the screen. A press of Esc closes the screen while keeping the page open, until the item in the main hand changes. An item is kept in place with a right click. The screen can be opened by operators, and the server can restrict the settings to operators. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and players can report bugs through the issue tracker on GitHub.

Only the server needs Cool Veinminer. Players can join without installing it, and the mod sets the rules that apply to everyone on the server. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the latest build, v1.2.13+mod, targets 26.1.2. The mod covers game versions 1.21.6 – 26.1.2.
